Antique Sweetheart Electric Toaster

You are looking at a 1929 universal toaster made by landers Frary and Clark. Known as the Sweetheart toaster this toaster has a feminine appeal with its earring like handles, diamond shape body, a bread basket on each side in the shape of a heart, and floral and arabesque decorations. Made famous by its mechanism for flipping the bread in the heart shaped basket just by pressing a button the basket swivels out and turns the bread to toast the other side. This toaster is complete, fully functional, and in original condition it has not been fixed or messed with and works as should. The purchase includes a vintage cloth cord which utilizes a switch to turn the toaster on and off without unplugging it. The toaster’s finish is in amazing condition for its age. It does show minor signs of wear however. See photos.
